Pymwymic, an acronym for "Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is Community," is an pioneering impact investment community based in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Established in 1994, it has grown into a vibrant network of over 150 families and individual impact investors dedicated to accelerating the transition to a more sustainable and regenerative economy. Pymwymic focuses on channeling capital into early-growth companies that offer innovative solutions to pressing environmental and social challenges, embodying a philosophy where financial returns are intrinsically linked with positive, measurable impact.

The firm primarily invests through dedicated impact funds, targeting Series A and B stage companies. Their investment strategy is currently anchored by two main vehicles: the Healthy Ecosystems Impact Fund and the Healthy Food Systems Impact Fund. The Healthy Ecosystems fund, which reached a final close of €65 million in 2023, focuses on enterprises restoring and preserving natural capital, such as sustainable agriculture, circular economy solutions, and biodiversity protection. Concurrently, the Healthy Food Systems fund, with a final close of €50 million in 2021, supports companies transforming the global food system towards greater sustainability, health, and equity.

Pymwymic typically provides initial cheque sizes ranging from €1 million to €3 million (approximately $1.08 million to $3.24 million USD, based on current exchange rates), with a capacity for follow-on investments as portfolio companies scale. Since 2014, Pymwymic has demonstrated its commitment to impact by investing over €100 million across more than 30 impact companies.
